Bring your little ones along to the library and let them enjoy a magical time with stories, songs and maybe even some crazy dancing! Meet other local parents and kids at these free sessions tailor made for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.  Bookings are now required for all sessions. Please call the library branch that you wish to attend for a booking.

Our storytimes will resume on  1 February 2021 and run through the school terms.

Term 1        3 February -1 April

Term 2        19 April -  25 June

         

Preschool Storytime

Preschool time is for perfect for preschoolers aged  4- 5 years. Preschool time is a fun 45 minute session of songs, rhymes, books and an activity suitable for preschool aged children. Preschool time helps children to develop language, imagination and concentration whilst introducing them to a wide range of books.

Preschool Storytime sessions are presented weekly from February – mid-December, except on public holidays. Places are now limited due to Covid restrictions and bookings are essential

Toddler Time

Toddler Time is for perfect for toddlers aged 1-3 years. Toddler time is a fun 30 minute session of songs, rhymes and books suitable for toddlers

Sing, dance and read along with your child whilst helping to develop their language, motor and social skills.

Toddler times sessions will run weekly though the school term resuming from the week starting 15 March except on public holidays. Places are now limited due to Covid restrictions and bookings are essential.

 

 

Baby Time

Baby time is for perfect for babies aged 0-12 months. It's a fun 30 minute session of songs, rhymes and simple books, Help your babies mind to grow by learning new words and songs as well as developing language and concentration. Stimulate their young minds and start to develop a love of reading from a young age. 

Baby Time will be presented weekly at Rosebud, Mornington, Hastings and Somerville libraries from February except on public holidays.

Places are now limited due to Covid restrictions and bookings are essential.
