Our Libraries remain open for a click and collect service

In-light of the Premier's announcement today to extend the current lockdown, Click and Collect services will continue from our Mornington, Rosebud, Somerville and Hastings libraries.

The return chutes will remain open at these locations as well. 
 
If you would like to collect library items in this time please place a hold via our catalogue or call our library staff who can assist you with your reservation.

We will send a notification via your preferred method either email, text or print notification.

No bookings are required to collect your items, please bring your library card and come to the library where a staff member will collect your items for you.
 
We understand that you will have items on loan, the due dates for these items will be automatically been extended until August 25 (and we don't have late fines anymore anyway). Please call the library if you have any questions. 
 
Remember the library has eBooks, eAudiobooks. eMagazines, Streaming Video and Story Box Library you can access at home. https://ourlibrary.mornpen.vic.gov.au/eLibrary

 How to use Click and Collect:

  1. Search Our Library online
  2. When you find something you want to read, watch or listen to, click on the title
  3. Then click on the Hold button
  4. Enter you library card number and pin. If you have forgotten your pin please click forgot my pin.
  5. Select your preferred Library to pick up.
  6. No bookings are required, please bring your library card and come to the library during our regular opening hours where a staff member will collect your items for you.

Your ongoing patience is appreciated as we work through re-opening our libraries safely. 

Important information about Our Libraries

  • Physical browsing of our collections cannot take place in this first stage of re-opening due to social distancing. 
  • Return chutes will remain .
  • All loans will be extended until the June 8, and no fines will be issued, so there is no need to rush back to return your books
  • Public programs will continue virtually.
