OurLibraries open

Published on 19 November 2021

Your safety, and the safety of our staff, is our priority. When you visit the library, you must:

  • provide proof of COVID-19 double vaccination or a signed medical exemption,
  • check-in using the Service Victoria app (also available on our branch iPads),
  • use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the library,
  • carry a mask (unless you have a lawful exemption)
  • if you feel unwell, please stay home.

Our friendly staff will be available to assist you and we ask that you please respect each other and our staff, remain patient and adhere to the guidelines so that we can all enjoy the library spaces again.

We've extended your loan due dates, items are due back from 22 November (excluding inter-library loans) and the return chutes remain open at all our library branches.

We understand not everyone will be able to visit Our Library and we’re committed to bringing you ways to stay engaged and connected through these challenging times. Have a look at our in-library and at home program coming up as well as our movie streaming service. Storytime will remain online via Facebook at 11am on Wednesdays and Fridays.

If you’re unable to visit the library, you can also arrange a contactless home delivery of your library items. Instructions on how to arrange delivery

Please follow the Mornington Peninsula Libraries Facebook page or visit the library website for the latest updates and the current opening hours of each library branch.

We look forward to seeing you in our Somerville, Hastings, Mornington and Rosebud libraries.
