Robot building - Rosebud Library

Suitable for ages 8+

During this three-week program, children will learn the joy of building and programming a robot. Children must be able to attend all three sessions, 17, 24 and 31 March. On these Wednesdays between 4 and 5pm, your child will put together a Maqueen Micro:bit robot. They will learn scratch programming code to perform music and a light show, chase lights and avoid obstacles.

Featuring the Mini-body, exciting features and plug-and-play, the various components allow children to quickly learn visual programming in entertaining, nurturing children's interest in science and logical thinking.

The sessions will run over three weeks and children will be able to borrow the robot kit for the duration.

Bookings are limited and essential and your child must be able to attend all three sessions.
