to 11:00 AM
Recommended for ages 6+.
Insects are vital for wildlife and a healthy world. Australia has some amazing native bees and insects busy pollinating and helping maintain healthy soil. Insects are also a food source for many birds and animals.
Build a Home for Native Bees and Insects
In this interactive, hands-on activity children explore the secret world of insects, learn why they are important and then create a unique insect habitat to take home.
Natural materials are used where-ever possible to create the insect home as metal and plastic can overheat, we also up-cycle and recycle where possible.
This is a fun, creative activity that will make a difference to biodiversity.
Please note that no live animals or insects are used.
