Fiero Code is a self-guided online software program for ages 8+ offering a gamified learning experience. Through this web-based educational software, you can learn how to build websites, video games, phone apps, animations and more. All the while, learning how to become better a problem solver and critical thinker.

Getting Started with Fiero Code
Fiero Code is free to all library members. All you need to set up an account is an email address, your library card number and PIN.

- Click Sign Up
- Select your library branch
- Fill in your first name, gender, age, email and create a username and password.
- Tick the boxes to acknowledge the privacy policy and terms and conditions
- Click on the start coding button.
Once you have created an account, you can sign in anywhere.
Busy Code by Busy Things is perfect for introducing programming concepts to young children step by step.
Children can quickly create, run and debug simple programs. Busy Code programs are built by linking simple blocks together – drag and drop the blocks to assemble a program, they will snap together like jigsaw pieces!
Busy Code is suitable for ages 5-13.

Use your library membership to access Busy Things, an online resource which will help you find one of more than 700 educations game to play with children aged between 3 and 11 years old.
You can also download free individual games from both the Apple and Google stores.
