Public Libraries Victoria is required to move to a new state-wide courier service for our interlibrary loans. As a result, we are suspending the inter-library loan service temporarily. We will let you know when the service resumes. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If you are looking for an item that Our Library does not hold, you may request an Interlibrary Loan through the Interlibrary Loans online platform LLV2. This service enables you to borrow resources from other libraries.

Alternatively, customers may request Our Library to purchase items via New Item Request. These items must meet our Collection Management Plan.

Guidelines for Interlibrary Loans

  • Items not held by Our Library may be requested online or at any of Our Library locations.
  • NOTE: items NOT available for Interlibrary loan include:
  • Items in special collections
  • Books published in the past 36 months
