Children will create their own unique water dish to take home and include in their garden!
This hands-on activity is a fun way to instantly start helping our wildlife.
Every year heat affected wildlife are rescued from our backyards and come into care. In many instances, these rescues could easily be avoided by simply providing an appropriate water dish.
Children will:
- Discover where best to place water dishes for different species
- Create a dish that is safe for both wildlife and insects
- Have a wildlife water dish to take home for their garden.

Note: There is no need to book a parental ticket, although we do expect you to remain with the child through the program.
