Wildlife Rescue Workshop

Delve into the secret lives of selected local wildlife species, including some amazing egg laying monotremes, nest builders and egg layers! Discover how each is unique and why their misadventures sometime require rescue and rehabilitation.

In this fun workshop, children will help plan and perform a mock rescue taking into consideration the wildlife’s physical build, how they move and the equipment required that will suit each species. Join us to share in photos, video footage and real rescue stories, as well as creating a car rescue kit to take home.
