Workshop: Junk Journalling - Hastings Library

Create a simple hand-sewn journal that can be used as a diary, notebook, travel journal, quote book, art journal or something else inspiring.

We will use a variety of papers - old, new, printed, plain, patterned, handmade, magazine or book pages - things that are often thrown away. These papers are folded, assembled and then sewn into a cover, creating your own personalised journal.

Journals can be made in various sizes and once you learn the techniques, you’ll be confident enough to make your own.

All materials are supplied, however, you may BYO papers if you’d like to make your journal more personal.
