Join Gail Holmes as she discusses her debut historical novel In The Margins. Inspired by the real life of Frances Wolfreston, this extraordinary story explores the intellectual courage of a woman preserving rare literary works in 17th century Puritan England—including some of the earliest known copies of Shakespeare.

Scottish-born and now based in Australia, Gail Holmes began writing while living in Shanghai and raising five children. With a background in engineering and a Master of Creative Writing, Gail brings a unique voice to historical fiction you won’t want to miss.
