Building Healthy Soil for a Produce Garden - Mornington Library
Next date: Wednesday, 04 June 2025 | 02:00 PM
to 03:30 PM
Healthy soil is full of life and fundamental to the health of our gardens, providing plants with all the nutrients and water they need to grow. The paybacks of healthy soil can be huge: bigger, healthier crops, less reliance on fertilisers, less watering needed and more.
This workshop, presented by Sustainable Gardening Australia, will introduce you to simple ways to improve the soil in your productive garden and will provide tips on how to protect and improve soil in an environmentally beneficial way.
This event is part of the My Smart Garden program, which is a free educational gardening program that can help you to grow food, shelter your home from the sun and wind, create local habitats, reduce waste and use water wisely.
