Join us for an interactive and engaging workshop designed to enhance social connections and improve overall well-being.
Research has shown that loneliness has a very real effect on our physical and mental health. Clear links have been made between loneliness and depression, the development of dementia and having similar health impacts as obesity, alcoholism or smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
Being part of a community can offer extra meaning and purpose to everyday life plus have a positive effect on mental health and emotional well-being.
This course combines verbal and physical activities to create a fun, active learning environment. Participants will leave with valuable tips, resources, and strategies to build meaningful relationships and navigate the challenges of aging.

- Challenges of ageing and diminishing support
