Next date: Wednesday, 13 November 2024 | 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

After discovering Ikebana in 2010, Aileen qualified as a teacher at the Sogetsu School and has been teaching for six years. Not only does she teach classes locally, but also online both nationally and internationally.

Ikebana is often referred to as the “Japanese art of flower arranging”, however it is much more than putting flowers in a vase. Aileen believes that Ikebana brings us closer to the natural world. It brings peacefulness to our busy lives, and beauty into our homes.

Join Aileen as she discusses the history and principles of Ikebana and provides a demonstration of the creative process.
