National Families Week Storytime: Lulu's Rainbow Feast - Hastings
Children’s author Linda Rigby creates picture books for ages 2-6 that focus on health and well-being while ensuring the stories are fun and engaging.
As an early childhood teacher with training in nutrition, Linda enjoys writing stories that playfully introduce a variety of foods, encouraging young children to explore options they might typically shy away from. Her goal is to promote the exploration of nutritious foods through stories, play, and positive discussions about food. However, to the children, these books are simply enjoyable tales.
Linda’s first release, Lulu’s Rainbow Feast, celebrates food, family, and rainbows, and includes tips for families on how to encourage children to eat well.
Since its release in January, the book has been warmly received by both children and families. Based in Somerville, Linda looks forward to participating in Hastings Storytime, where she will share Lulu’s Rainbow Feast with her local community.
