Mornington Library Courtyard will be undergoing construction from Monday 25 March. The children's area will be closed, and unavoidable construction noise will be heard throughout March, April and May. Storytimes will moved to our meeting rooms.

Our Libraries will be closed on Thursday 25 April for the ANZAC Day Public Holiday, return chutes will remain open.

Story Dogs - Hastings Library

Recommended for ages 7 - 12.

Story Dogs is a fun and unique reading support program that improves children’s reading and communication skills by children reading to a trained companion dog and its handler.

When children read to a friendly, calm dog, the outcomes are amazing. Their literacy skills increase and their confidence soars.

They have fun, are not judged and their focus improves.

Children must be able to attend every week during Term 1.

Individual sessions will be allocated to each child between 4-5.30pm on Wednesdays throughout the school term.

Free. Bookings are essential.
