Mornington Library Courtyard will be undergoing construction from Monday 25 March. The children's area will be closed, and unavoidable construction noise will be heard throughout March, April and May. Storytimes will moved to our meeting rooms.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Project

We’re proud to announce that our Libraries are officially Sunflower-friendly places. This means you can visit us wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower and our staff will be able to support you with whatever needs you may have.

The Sunflower is a discreet symbol that people can wear to let others know they have a disability or condition that may not be immediately obvious – and may need a helping hand, understanding, or simply more space.

If you have a hidden disability or condition and would like to be a part of the global Sunflower community, you can order your free wearable Sunflower merchandise (wrist bands, lanyards, and pins) using the form below and we’ll post it to you (Peninsula residents only).
